The Clean Slate were three candidates for a Pennsylvania school board. They came to us initially asking for SEO help to rank on Google. There was only 2 weeks until the election so we knew a full SEO campaign was out of the question. We offered instead to consult and set up some targeted Facebook ads. The Clean Slate was addressing a few key community issues. We wanted to reach the people that cared about these issues most.
We targeted elderly couples in the area with an ad explaining the tax issues facing them. We served an ad regarding middle schools schedules to parents with children in the area. The campaign included sponsored posts that reach their existing fan base and targeted ads that reach all users on Facebook based on a demographic.
We spent ~$20 a day for 5 days and… all three candidates won the election.
